Welcome to "He Lives!©" and one of many productions sponsored by Revelation Ministries.  Our mission is to train and equip people to share the hope of Jesus Christ through the performing arts worldwide.  We seek to build a bridge between denominations and the local body of Christ in our efforts to fulfill the Great Commission.”  Acts 13:47 – “For this is what the Lord has commanded us; I have made you a light to the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”

We are excited that you have chosen to take the first step in joining us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of the world through music, drama and dance.  Our performances are a celebration of love as demonstrated by God in the divine creation and in other scenes from the Old and New Testament.  At the close of every performance an opportunity for salvation, restoration and counsel is given to fulfill the vision of God’s call.

Please read the attached (PDF) materials carefully as they explain eligibility requirements, information regarding locations, auditions, rehearsals and performance dates and times.  You must be a legal United States resident, 18 years of age or older and eligible to work within the United States. 

All completed forms and a non-refundable processing fee of $10.00 (payable by cash, money order, or check to Revelation Ministries) must be returned to the office listed below or during our rehearsal time.  If financial limitations would prevent you from participating, we have provided for you a fee waiver form.  We do not want a financial hardship to keep anyone from participating.  This fee will be used towards administrative cost, i.e. music book, CD, etc.

Please note that the callback auditions and all tech rehearsals are closed to everyone except participating applicants.  Auditions will be held at the Main Street Christian Church (blue building), 1300 Northeast 38th Street, Oakland Park, FL  33334, every Thursday of each month where you will be required to sing a two to three minute song, a cappella, dance and/or drama skit/reading.  No one is turned away.  However, our leadership panel will review all materials and determine if you will also be selected to perform a singing, drama or dance solo.  A callback date will be announced to you by email and phone to perform or try out for a solo.

List of Volunteer Positions
All cast and crew position are volunteer. Revelation Ministries provides other areas of interest if you are not interested in singing and drama. There are volunteer positions available where we need lots of help. Below is a sample of some of those positions.

Actors 
Pretty self-explanatory! 

Costumers 
Sewing, of course, and also helping everyone get outfitted properly and in a timely manner. Must get ready to answer the question, "How does this go?" and respond to numerous pleas for help with head-coverings! 

Make-up Artists 
There are always a handful of male actors who need beards but are not permitted to grow them because of their jobs. Our spring production will introduce a need for really fun stuff like "aging" some of our cast and creating bruises and bleeding wounds! 

Set/Scenery/Props 
Carpenters, artists and those who want to lend a hand with getting it done and in place! 

Technicians
Sound and lights are always helpful and being a small organization, we usually have to be pretty inventive in how we achieve our goals. Hey, that just makes it more fun, right? 

Wherever-you-need-me 
These are indispensable! There is always something to be done, and more hands make it all go better! If you are one of these, God bless you!
